Elements of design are the parts which form the structure of a work. Design is the process of selecting and organizing elements or components in order to fulfill a specific purpose. This purpose may be functional or aesthetic, or (frequently) both. It can also be defined as a product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It is the use imagination and talent or skill to create works of aesthetic value, especially in the fine arts.
